Class Styles

YIN YOGA & YOGA NIDRA

Yin is about releasing, yielding and surrendering and is the perfect compliment to our Yang way of living and more dynamic ways of exercising. By bypassing muscles in the target area and focusing on connective tissues such as fascia and ligaments, the joints and bones, we hold the postures for 3-5 minutes. This allows for deeper opening of the body, whilst also exploring our connection to our mind. Yin is perfect for all levels, from beginners to more experienced.

The class is then rounded with yoga nidra, otherwise known as yogic sleep. As you lie supported in savasana, yoga nidra is reached through a guided meditation, taking you through the layers of self and promoting deep rest and relaxation.

(60 minute class)

  • Class cancellation policy applies

  • Classes cancelled within 12 hours of the class time are forfeited

  • Classes cancelled more than 12 hours in advance of the class time can be redeemed for another class within a 2 week period

  • Classes are non-transferrable to other students
